Interim/Fractional CMO

A fractional/interim CMO (Chief Marketing Officer), serves as a marketing executive responsible for leading the marketing strategy and managing the marketing department. Mitchell Brown Consulting works with businesses that need an executive-level marketing officer, but not in a full-time capacity .

Clients benefit from a fractional CMO when a full-time CMO is not warranted or when the organization’s CMO is temporarily away from the business and expert strategy and leadership are needed in the meantime.  Fractional CMOs also provide a fresh perspective, access to higher-level executive experience, and greater flexibility. Often, it makes sense to bring in a fractional chief marketing officer because a full-time role is not required based on the state or needs of the company and/or for financial reasons.
